eagle - A score of two under par on a given hole.

embedded - When part of the ball is below the surface of the sand in a bunker. Same as buried lie.

english - When the ball has a lot of spin in flight.

etiquette - Code of conduct on a golf course.

executive course - A shorter course with mainly par three and par four holes.

explosion shot - When in a sand trap, the act of deliberately propelling the ball out by hitting below it in the sand.

extra holes - Played when a match finishes even.
